In 2018, Ege University Faculty of Agriculture Department of Field Crops was carried out in the experimental fields in Bornova / İzmir. In this study; Tillage Sunn variety obtained from abroad (USA) was used as plant material and properties such as plant height, stem diameter, number of branches, number of leaves, herbage and hay yield, dry matter ratio and dry matter yield were examined. According to the data obtained; in 12 kg da<sup>-1</sup> nitrogen application, the highest green grass yield with 5221 kg da<sup>-1</sup>, the highest dry grass yield with 1553 kg da<sup>-1</sup>, the highest plant height with 216,4 cm, the highest stalk diameter with 13,67 mm, the highest number of branches with 73 pieces, the highest number of leaves with 167.9 pieces was obtained and it was concluded that the optimum amount of nitrogen application is required in the cultivation of the Sunn hemp and that the ideal nitrogen dose is 12 kg da<sup>-1</sup> in the Bornova plain under Mediterranean climatic conditions.</p>}, number={1}, journal={ISPEC Journal of Agricultural Sciences}, author={Mert YILMAZ and Gülcan DEMİROĞLU TOPÇU}, year={2020}, month={May}, pages={125–135} }
