The experiment was carried out at Ege University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops, during the winter growth seasons of 2019 as a pot experiment grown under indoor. According to the randomized plot design with four replications, five different irrigation doses (Field capacity (FC) %20-40-60-80-100) were determined. Some parameters were evaluated in the study such as plant height, hay yield, root dry weight, crude protein content and in the plant; concentrations of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), and magnesium (Mg). The effects of irrigation doses were significant on all characteristics tested as 1% statistically significant in the experiment. The highest hay yield was obtained by irrigation of FC-80%; the lowest yield was obtained by irrigation of FC-20%. As water scarcity increased, plant nutrients and crude protein concentration decreased.</p> ER -
