Propolis is one of the few "natural remedies" used since ancient times. More than 300 active compounds have been identified in propolis, such as phenolic compounds, aromatic acids, essential oils, waxes and amino acids. Thanks to its antioxidant, antibacterial and antiviral effects, propolis has been shown to have various health benefits on some diseases. Propolis is a natural bee product that is used as a multi-functional in medicine, cosmetics, food industry and apitherapy, in addition to being used by bees in the hive due to its antibacterial and antioxidant properties. In this study, the biological and healing properties of propolis were tried to be emphasized, and some of the studies on human health effects were given under certain headings.</p>}, number={4}, journal={ISPEC Journal of Agricultural Sciences}, author={Pınar COŞKUN and Hakan İNCİ}, year={2020}, month={Dec.}, pages={1053–1070} }
